Best Broadband Plan/Internet Provider in Bangalore

Bangalore : Nowadays there are so many broadband company which give broadband services in Bangalore and each company have their best tariff to lure Bangaloreans.

But recently, I have come across tariff of ACT Broadband and I feel this as Best Broadband Plan in Bangalore.

    I have same experience as Keya. I wanted a broadband and was considering ACT BB, but negative reviews of ACT deterred me to consider otherwise. Seems like they have highly unreliable service as well as pathetic customer care.

    I had this ACT connection in last october. they provided the connectivity only for 2 month. after that without information they stopped the service. when asked, they told that they have some issues with the local cable operator. yes. their customer care is very poor. I suffered a lot by selecting ACT BB

    Thanks for the information. I was considering to go with the ACT BB connection as the Airtel says they do not have any port’s available in my area. Your feedback about ACT BB actually makes me think twice and I will definitely look over the internet for reviews. Is there any other broadband service provider you would suggest (other than Airtel)?

    Guys, do not consider Airtel broadband (specially if you are staying in South Bangalore). Since last three months, they have severe network issues. Not just me but all my friends too are facing it. Very frustrating. I am going to change is this week.

    I would also recommend against ACT broadband. I had to shift the connection within Bangalore and they took almost a month to get it shifted. Customer care never responds, Nodal Officer phones do not work, they give no updates. You feel helpless as a customer. As of now, I have currently applied for a shifting (again) and it’s been 15 days and nothing. I have been trying to reach them for the past 5 days with no luck. Once when I got through, the customer care exec told me that I would have to pay the subscription amount for these 15 days (and who knows how long) even though I have not used the service, and in fact I’m suffering without good internet connectivity. What logic is that?

    Although I use the business plan paying higher charges, but still the service is pathetic and has frequent down time and the customer care is worst.

    Guys,
    I used ACT abundant plan for 9 months and have not faced any problemswith the customer care. Infact the internet speed was too good that my FTP used to get completed in week or so. This was the only issue – FTP :P.
    Also they needed a lot of permissions to move across areas in bangalore (India right !). Otherwise, if their service is available in area definitely go for it, you will love the speed (FASTEST IN BANGALORE probably…..REASONABLE too:))

    I stay near Lalbagh west gate. Inspite of being the city central locality, I’m surprised to hear the “service unavailable” reply from almost all the private broadband providers. Can anyone suggest some provider who actually has a service there.

    I think you are working in ACT, that is the worst internet service provider across india.

    Customer care: negative response.
    Latency speed: negative.

    You won’t get any positive response from ACT.

    ACT is the worst service. They have issues with local cable operators and the connection keeps going off as the local cable operators cut the cable and threaten ACT staff. As a result…customer suffers. I have not had internet for over a week now and the customer service execs just make false commitments. Also when there is heavy rain…the cables get cut as they are tied to branches of trees which break during rains. Cables are also tied over high voltage electric lines, when the cable gets cut and falls on this there is a definite danger to peoples life.
    I would suggest you to wait till 15 April 2014 for hayai to launch in bangalore. It will change the broadband industry. You can check out http://www.hayai.in for details.
